SOPHIE WEST
Your host and the founder of WesternWish, Sophie West has been named a finalist for Favorite Female Vocalist in the Colorado Blues Society's 2026 Member's Choice Awards and a quarterfinalist in the 2026 International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Sophie brings her soulful sound to the stage through multiple projects.
Since re-establishing herself in the Colorado music scene in 2024, Sophie has released her debut solo EP (Long Time Coming) and founded two bands, the blues/funk-driven outfit The Sophie West Band and the jam band West of Fennario. More about Sophie can be found here.
TONY MEADE
Born and raised in the hills of West Virginia, Tony Meade has been making music in Denver for over 20 years. He combines the melodicism of classic British rock’n’roll and modern Americana to create a timeless power pop sound. His lyrics combine romance and cynicism, hope and longing, beauty and grit; a contradiction that somehow makes sense. Tony has released three solo albums and multiple singles since 2010. His Christmas album WASSAIL and his singles “It’s Alright” and “A Walk In The Sun” have been featured by Denver Westword as among the best local releases of 2020, 2021, and 2022, respectively. HALEY HARKIN
Haley is a singer-songwriter rooted in the folk traditions of her Austin, Texas upbringing, now blooming in the mountains of Colorado. With a sound she calls folk medicine music, her songs blend raw emotion, soulful vocals, and lyrical reflections on nature, humanity, and healing. Described by listeners as “bare feet on grass,” her music invites a deep exhale—a return to what feels real. Guided by a love for the Earth and a desire for change, Haley’s voice is both grounding and ethereal, offering comfort, clarity, and connection. More about Haley can be found here.
GARDEN DISTRICT
Garden District, named after the famous music-centric neighborhood in New Orleans, is a Colorado-based R&B, Blues, and Soul band who brings sultry vocals and skilled instrument soloists to their audience. Featuring Brandon Hoem, a Fort Collins born-and-raised guitarist, paired with Ben Sprouse, the Portland, Oregon-born guitarist and vocalist who draws on his family's Louisiana roots, this duo writes and performs original music unique in the Northern Colorado music scene.
